Perfect for pork or chicken.
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup medium dry sherry
3 cloves garlic, mashed to paste
1 tsp. ginger root, peeled and grated
In a large pot, combine ingredients and bring to a boil. When pot comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5-6 minutes. Let cool in pan. Marinade pork or chicken pieces in a glass dish in the refrigerator for approximately 4-5 hours (the longer the better).
