English Toffee

5 ingredients

2 ½ C. sugar
1 C. water
4 sticks of butter
¼ C. light corn syrup
2-3 C. of nuts (Any type you prefer)

Put half of the nuts on an unbuttered cookie sheet. Cook the first four ingredients over medium heat until golden brown in a large pan. Pour mixture over nuts on cookie sheet and sprinkle with remaining nuts. Let cool and break into pieces.
