Scottish Shortbread

3 ingredients

2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
5 c. unsifted all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Grease four 8-inch round cake pans or 1 large pizza pan.

Mix all three ingredients in a large mixing bowl with electric mixer. Divide dough into 4 equal pieces. Pat evenly into bottom of pans.

Bake for 1 hour or until golden but not brown.
